So, Mountains Of Death was fucking unreal! 5 amazing days, 2 of them involving driving and stopping off at Amsterdam on the way. Never been to ‘Slamsterdam’ before so for me it was nice to experience something new and unusual (Red Light District!!!!!!!!!!!!), even bought my first bag of green even though i only ever ping-pong tokes off of everyone else. Right now i am recovering from heavy sunburn, mainly on my left shoulder which has gone from its pus filled scab stage to peeling.
The video basically sums up the most memorable live performance i have EVER been lucky enough to see(and the best band of the entire festival), To Violently Vomit aka Disgorge US. This band made Decapitated sound so weak in comparison when they came onstage right after. But then again, Decapitated are practically dead to me these days…

This fucking week! Heading off to Switzerland for 3 days of Brutal Death Metal! Stopping in Amsterdam while on the way as well, Coffee shops and a red light area ;)
REALLY stoked about seeing To Violently Vomit (aka Disgorge USA), Incinerate, Gorgasm, Defeated Sanity, Wormed, Internal Bleeding, Severe Torture, Putridity, Modus Delicti, Beheaded and Abysmal Torment to name but a few (or half the lineup even :P)!

The suburbs of Swindon where i used live as a child, especially the graffiti art of two post-apocalyptic looking individuals with spray cans in their hands. Nowadays i cannot see that area looking as peaceful as it was all those years ago….

This band is fucking intense. In your face death grind just the way i love it. This artwork was based on one of their lyrics “AS I STAND WITNESS TO THE INESCAPABLE DECLINE, AND EROSION OF MANKIND. I REFUSE TO OBSERVE, COVERING BEHIND MY HANDS, AND ENVELOPED IN FANTASY”.

Taken from last night’s Death By Metal fest show in Birmingham. Sadly due to equipment difficulties the show for me was one of the worst i had played, although i am grateful for the crowd reaction and ongoing support from the bands that also played. Thanks to Paul Priest from Diascorium, Tom and Tom from Maw, Graham from Nerrus Kor, Philly ‘No Mates’ Swillsley (formerly of Lordaeron, now Deathtripper) and Tom Reynolds aka Foul Body Autopsy for the good times!
